High Lane Ladies team started up last season going into a softball leauge and in there first game they won by 21 runs against Mottram with getting 8 wickets and scoring a net score of 269.
They continued this good start by beating Dinting ladies by 29 runs which they got 5 wickets to keep Dintings score down then they got a huge net score of 308 winning once again.
Overall HLCC Ladies team had fun all over the season incluing tournenments at Charlesworth and Romiley making it to the final and semis they ended up in 6th in the table winning 6 games Which is very good for there first season.
The Ladies loved Cricket that much that they continued during the winter in a indoor league thats 8 a side that they play every sunday and are continuing there winning ways with them.
High Lane CC are excited to offer the opportunity Women & Girls to enjoy paying cricket at Middlewood. Whilst we have had girls progressing through our junior section in previous years, we will be offering dedicated teams for Women and Girls to enjoy cricket together.
